We've been privately collecting old time radio on reel-to-reel tape since the 1970's and still collect this way. Transferring from tape to .wav file, we use state of the art digital processing and all done in real time. We're adding to the Vintage Broadcast catalog regularly, so make a point of stopping by for new offerings.
